MAIN INGREDIENTS
Raw Almonds – 1 and 1/2 cups of good quality Raw Almonds.
Hot Sauce – 1/4 cup of Frank’s Buffalo hot sauce, works good.
Sweetener – 1 tbsp of Honey, I have used, replace it with Maple syrup or any sweetener of your choice.
Chili powder – 1/2 tsp Chili powder for the heat. If you prefer mild spice cut the amount of chili powder or replace it with cayenne powder.
Garlic powder – 1/4 tsp of Garlic powder, add nice flavor to the dish
Salt – A dash of sea salt to taste OR regular salt as required.

STEP 1 :
- Preheat oven to 350*F / 180*C
- In a sauce pan, whisk hot sauce, honey, chili powder, garlic powder and salt together over medium – low heat.
STEP 2 :
Turn off heat, then add the raw almonds, stirring so that almonds are coated well.
STEP 3 :
- Pour almonds out onto a parchment lined baking tray.
- Then bake in preheat oven for 10 to 12 mins (or until crispy)
STEP 5 :
- Once baking time completed, remove the tray and allow them to cool down completely.
- Serve it as a snacks or you can add them to salad bowl for additional flavors.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
Nuts – Buy good quality raw almonds.
Baking – Do not crowd the baking tray so there is space for the heat to roast the almonds.
Seasoning – If you like mild heat then cut back on the chili powder or replace it with cayenne powder.
Variations – Serve it as a snacks or you can add them to salad bowl and trail mix for additional flavors.
Storage – Roasted nuts will stay good up to about ten days, stored in airtight container at room temperature.
