Air Fryer Chili Cheese toast

Here is a quick snack dish that you can prepare in less than 10 mins and serve as breakfast or snacks or even appetizer.

MAIN INGREDIENTS

Cheese – 1 cup Grated Mozzarella cheese

Garlic – 2 cloves Minced Garlic or 1/4 tsp Garlic powder

Pepper – 1/2 cup Red Peppers, chopped

Butter – 1 tablespoon Soft Unsalted Butter

Chili Flakes – 1/2 tbsp Red Pepper flakes, adjust according to your spice level

Bread – 4 slices of Sandwich bread

HERE ARE MY STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS WITH PHOTOS

STEP 1 : Chili Cheese mixture

In a bowl add Mozzarella cheese, chopped red bell pepper, minced garlic, chili flakes, soft butter, chopped cilantro and mix well until the mixture is combined.

STEP 2 :

Spread 2 to 3 tbsp of chili cheese mixture evenly onto one side of the bread slice, repeat this process for remaining slices.

STEP 3 :

Place the slices with cheese filled side facing up in the air fryer tray.

STEP 4 :

Cook for 350*F for 4 mins, until cheese melts and start to brown slightly.

STEP 5 : Serving

Cut and serve immediately with ketchup on the side.

TIPS AND TRICKS

Make ahead : Prepare this chili cheese mixture ahead and store in refrigerator for 3 to 5 days.

Variations: You can add veggies of your choice – chopped onions, olives, sweet corn kernels.
