Quick and Simple air fryer “stir-fry” frozen vegetable recipe with little effort and lots of flavor. It’s super healthy and packed with nutrients.
MAIN INGREDIENTS
Frozen Vegetables – 1 medium size pack of chopped Frozen Vegetables (mix of broccoli, cauliflower and root vegetables or veggies of your choice)
Oil – 1 teaspoon Oil
Seasoning – 2 teaspoon of Italian Seasoning, Pepper powder and Salt
Air fryer Model – Instant Vortex plus 10 QT air fryer oven
HERE ARE MY STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS WITH PHOTOS
STEP 1 : INSTANT VORTEX PLUS Air Fryer Method
- Select Air fryer mode and set temperature to 400*F and time for 12 mins (or preheat your air fryer, if using different model).
- Meanwhile, fill the air fryer tray with frozen vegetables (straight out of the freezer).
- Arrange vegetables in single layer, do not over crowd.
STEP 2 :
- Once preheat completed and when air fryer indicates “ADD FOOD”, open the lid and place dripping tray at the bottom of the air fryer and insert food tray in the middle rack of the preheated air fryer.
- Close the lid and air fry at 400*F for 12 mins, after 5 mins take out the veggies and add to a bowl.
STEP 3 : Seasoning
To the veggies, add 2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, drizzle 1 teaspoon oil, dash of pepper powder, 1/4 teaspoon of salt and give a good mix using spatula.
STEP 4 :
Place seasoned veggies back to the tray and spread evenly in single layer.
STEP 5 : Final Preparation
Insert seasoned veggie tray back into the air fryer and air fry for remaining 7 mins. Shake half way through (if required air fry for additional 2 to 4 mins for extra crisp).
STEP 6 : Serving
Serve it as an appetizer or with a side of steamed rice.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Cook frozen chopped vegetables straight out of the freezer, no need of oil spray.
Air fryer Model – I have used Instant vortex plus 10 qt air fryer oven, different air fryer brands may cook at different rates, so be sure to keep an eye on food while cooking.
Avoid Overcrowding– Always air fry in single layer, do not over crowd.
For Seasoning – I have used Italian seasoning for this recipe, you can use regular salt and pepper seasoning or any seasoning of your choice.
